A bacteriological research has been carried out on tonsilar and fecal samples from 117 swines, normally slaughtered, to point out the presence of Yersinia enterocolitica. The results confirm the epidemiological importance tha swines assume in the environmental and alimentary diffusion of this microrganism, as reservoir for humans for humans serotypes.
