Abstract
In studying the dedications to Mars Augustus in Africa Proconsularis and Numidia, a small group of inscriptions of Pontii attracted my attention for the wide chronological period of reference and for the peculiar character of some texts; not last, the alternation between pagan and christian features seemed to me worthy of interest. In the paper, after the presentation and discussion of each document, some overall considerations are put forward on this group of inscriptions, which represents an interesting mark of the change in the epigraphic landscape in a necropolis of central-eastern Numidia between the IIIrd and IVth centuries AD.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
