Abstract

During the last years, the original concept of development experienced important transformations, driven by the need to interrelate different paths, often asymmetrical and affected by globalization and local political choices, as well as, as a result by the contrasting dynamics that result to be contemporaneously by processes of society homogenization and by the local differences valorisation. In this framework, it is possible to highlight the existence of different dynamics that result all strongly determined by the capacity of the territories to respond to a changing environment through adaptive mechanisms that combine exogenous and endogenous dynamics. In particular, the work in hand investigates the dynamics characterizing the phenomenon of female entrepreneurship in the Region of Molise (Italy).
