Abstract

Statistical analyses are applied to investigate moprhological relationship among 309 oak trees belonging to European oaks. The metodh is based on discriminant analysis for the species assignment, using several morphological features of young twigs, leaves, buds abd fruits. Discriminat function are then used to compute the probability for each individual tree belonging to a species.
