The article retraces the historical events related to the presence of the Aragonese court in the village of Carinola, whose material traces are recognizable in the architectural style of high-quality buildings constructed as residences for nobles associated with the court. In particular, it focuses on the analysis of the Marzano and Petrucci palaces, which display original and noteworthy features both in terms of composition and stone ornamentation.
