Urticaria from □-lactam antibiotics is a common adverse drug reaction, mainly with the clinical characteristics of acute urticaria-angioedema syndrome. To our knowledge, physical urticarias due to these antibiotics have never been described before. We report the case of a 32-year-old man with no history of adverse drug reactions, who developed dermographic urticaria after oral amoxicillin therapy. A test with dermographic tester was administered to confirm the clinical suspect of dermographic urticaria. The patient was positive to 3 international arbitrary units. Therefore, the drug was suspended and spontaneous healing was observed after 7 days. Dermographic test was negative, too.
