Angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia (AHE) is a rare disease characterized by cutaneous nodules, sometimes associated with blood eosinophilia. The case of a 43-year old woman affected for 6 years by cutaneous nodules with a reddish hue, located on the back and the face, is reported. Blood eosinophil count was within normal range. Direct immunofluorescence showed positivity for ICAM-1 and LFA-1 in leucocytes and endothelial cells; dermal infiltrate consisted mainly of T and B lymphocytes (CD68+ and CD22+) and dermal macrophages (DR+). These data suggest that AHE could be considered as the clinical expression of an immunomediated reaction.

Abstract
These data suggest that AHE could be considered as the clinical expression of an immunomediated reaction.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
