In recent times, Snoezelen rooms and other multisensory and interactive environments are spreading not only in rehabilitation contexts but also in school settings, as evidenced by the birth of a "National Snoezelen Schools Network" which includes about 50 schools offering, not only to children and young people with disabilities but also to a wider user base, ludic and educational activities created with a multi-sensory approach. This reflects a change of perspective that sees “special” projects as opportunities useful for everyone. More recently, the "Domus Laetitiae" Cooperative, after a decade of experience of multisensory activities within social and healthcare facilities, opened itself to the community and started an experimental project aimed at nursery schools, by creating a multisensory environment at Cascina Oremo. This contribution explores the impact on young children, in terms of learning and relationships, elicited using these environments.

Abstract
This contribution explores the impact on young children, in terms of learning and relationships, elicited using these environments.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
