Abstract

The paper aims to make an integration proposal for the fragmentary inscription AE 1934, 152 found in the Forum of Augustus. The hypothesis is that is a dedication of a imago argentea and a clipeus auratus placed by the soldiers and officers of the legions who took part in the bellum Cantabricum. In a note is also suggested a model of analysis for the urban inscriptions relating to soldiers, officers and veterans of urban troupes, legions and auxilia, collected in the Section ‘Militares reliqui’ of the Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum.
