In 1993 to 1999, 2333 consecutive patients, neoplastic and biliary disease free, aged 19-72 yr, were examined by ultrasonography (US). The HCV+ was tested by serum markers. Hepato-duodenal ligament lymphonode enlargement (HDLLE) was found in 984/2150 patients; their number, dimension, shapes, texture and ilary structure were studied. In 303/984 the liver echostructure was `regular' defined.
