Thyroid nodules with color Doppler (CD), power Doppler (PD) and three dimensional (3D) PD images are compared. 3DPD is performed on 20 consecutive patients affected by thyroid nodules previously observed with PD. Two operators performed B-mode ultrasound and CD and divided nodules on the Lagalla criteria. Results show that better visualization of vascularization with 3DPD is achieved that can help in diagnosis and therapy.
