The discovery of moulds and kiln waste materials, the results of chemical analyses and the distribution patterns of the products of particular workshop allowed the location of new ateliers in the Campania region. These ateliers were active between the middle of the first century BC and the end of the first century AD,and produced both plain and decorated vessels. As a result, it is now possible to offer a general overview of the production which is now much better studued compared to a few years ago.
