In the endless production of Pier Paolo Pasolini, some linguistic strategies can be recognized which, if well isolated and analysed, seem to take the form of true constellations of his artistic universe, which can also be useful to guide scholars and, more generally, anyone interested in it: a) use of dialects; b) use of different linguistic varieties, with the adoption of multiple stylistic registers and means of communication; c) refined exploitation of the lexicon, with attention to both the synchronic and diachronic components. This also applies, and perhaps above all, to his literary work, which in this contribution we will try to define with reference to these parameters.
