The plots of belonging beyond the armour of identity. the case of High Molise. - The paper presents the results of an exploratory study on practices and narratives concerning the relationship between mobility and territorial belonging in the middle mountains, with the aim of detecting the socio-territorial dynamics at work in relation to the dimensions of living, leaving and returning., By proposing an interpretative process framework, which sees mobility as an element that historically characterises the Apennine mountains, and by holding a constant conversation with the voices of the subjects involved, different in terms of context and conditions of the mobility practised, the research interests to which we attempt to respond concern the positioning of these mountains through the vertical and horizontal relationships expressed by its inhabitants, the perception of the mountains, the feeling of being mountain dwellers, the feeling of being heirs to some form of mountain civilisation, the meaning given to these feelings on an individual and collective level, the extent of networks and the quality of social capital, the quality of life and the sense of belonging to the territory. A narrative from within also makes it possible to read these territories as nodes of connection, rather than of interruption or disconnection, characterised by a fair number of long, medium and short networks that are often interconnected.
Il contributo presenta i risultati di uno studio esplorativo sulle pratiche e sulle narrazioni relative al rapporto tra mobilità e appartenenze territoriali nelle montagne di mezzo, con l'obiettivo di rilevare le dinamiche socio-territoriali in atto in relazione alle dimensioni dell'abitare, del partire e del tornare., Proponendo un quadro interpretativo di processo, che vede la mobilità come un elemento caratterizzante storicamente la montanità appenninica, e intrattenendo una conversazione costante con le voci dei soggetti coinvolti, diversi per contesto e condizioni della mobilità praticata, gli interessi di ricerca a cui si cerca di dare risposta riguardano: il posizionamento di queste montagne attraverso le relazioni verticali e orizzontali espresse dai suoi abitanti, la percezione della montagna, il sentirsi montanari, il sentirsi eredi di una qualche forma di civiltà di montagna, il significato dato a questi sentimenti a livello individuale e collettivo, l'ampiezza delle reti e la qualità del capitale sociale, la qualità della vita e il senso di appartenenza al territorio. Una narrazione dal di dentro permette di leggere questi territori anche come nodi di connessione, più che di interruzione o disconnessione, caratterizzati da un discreto numero di reti lunghe, medie e corte che spesso sono tra loro collegate.
