Abstract: Knowledge is a fundamental asset for the growth and evolution of businesses. Knowledge management is based on the dynamics underlying the creation, processing and exchange of knowledge that is acquired within the company system. These dynamics can occur at all levels. The exchange of knowledge that takes place between individuals who work in companies, whether they are considered as a single entity or as part of an industrial district, represents an important moment in the creation and management of corporate knowledge. The main theories on the creation, transmission and sharing of knowledge in industrial districts teach us that there are specific ways of transmitting knowledge. The study carried out is focused on the reality of Oil&Gas districts, which constitute, due to the specificity of the product and the business context, a particular type of ID. In the southern oil district (DIME) which finds its central company in ENI, the Italian Oil company, a Site Pact was established in 2012. This agreement establishes a series of constraints and limitations in the management of human capital for all companies operating in the district and its supply chain.
