Abstract

The innovative brick - concrete systems see an advanced experimentation in the projects of Eladio Dieste and the development of nanotecnologies. In the XX century the investigators have pursued the goals related to static resistance, seismic resistance and durability in studies conducted by different European laboratories. In the study the projects of Eladio Dieste are analyzed to understand the scientific bases for studies of the second halves of the twentieth century by the design of Pierluigi Nervi, Felix Candela and Eduardo Torroja that illustrate the possibilities to the investigators in the XXI century. The study also describes an experimentation conducted by the author within a collaboration between the National Association of the Industrialists of Bricks and the University of Molise.
