Flessibilità di offerta e dimensione logistico-produttiva in un network strategico

Starting from the concept of flexibility of the logistics-production system in the fashion industry, with particular reference to the network of the Ittierre, with this contribution is to verify:a) the degree of flexibility of the system Ittierre logistical and manufacturing; b) offer the flexibility of the system depends on a flexible Ittierre evenly distributed among the other actors in the network, including suppliers of raw materials and off the peg. The analysis of these issues is empirical evidence of a qualitative field research (case study) carried out at two levels: within the focal (Ittierre) through interviews with managers of Logistics, Production and Planning, and all 'external by administering questionnaires to a sample of 20 suppliers and 20 selected from the same façon Ittierre based on their availability. Empirical analysis shows that system flexibility is achieved at the expense of some actors in the network, in particular suppliers and off the peg.
