Task-oriented dialogues are supposed to be pragmatically very similar because of their sharing the conversational goal. But this work aims at showing how in different Italian areas the selection of different communication strategies can lead to pragmatically unlike dialogues, more or less involved, paying a different amount of attention to positive and negative politeness and so on. In particular, this work analyses three specific dialogues of CLIPS corpus, elicited in Lecce (DGtdA01L), in Bari (DGtdB02B) and in Napoli (DGtdA01N), starting from their previous annotation with PRATiD annotation scheme. It will be shown te presence or absence of conversational dominance for one of the two participants, the kinds and levels of this dominance and how it works in the conversation and task management, influencing the whole running of the dialogues.
