Abstract

The term “building decay” has been present for a long time in the common language. This witnesses in our country a condition of disorganization of the rules of intervention on the territory, that even optimistically we must define ineffective. The situation is certainly difficult and what has been said previously is endorsed by politics, common to all sides, the pardon for illegal buildings that has legitimized the thought of those that imagine unlikely the only real action adopted in these cases: demolition. The contribution expresses some thoughts and considerations on the phenomenon of illegal building centering on the theme of quality and the responsibility of living.
