Abstract
Two different radical species, detected by electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy in the reaction mixture of 3-hydroxykynurenine, 1, and potassium ferricyanide at pH 8, support the hypothesis that a radical mechanism is working in the formation of ommatine pigments as well as in the oxidation of omicron-aminophenols to phenoxazin-3-one systems.File in questo prodotto:
