Abstract
This paper presents a three-dimensional study of water-flow coupling effects on the response of saturated soil to tunneling.A finite element formulation of a poro-elastoplastic theory is employed to thoroughly explore the influence of face-advance rate on induced displacements and pore pressures. Both the cases of unsupported and supported tunnel are investigated, showing significant effects of lining permeability.File in questo prodotto:
