La problematicità dei diritti dell’uomo: Lévinas e Jaspers a confronto

In the works of Jaspers and Arendt, the category of human rights has a strong critical- problematic connotation. The analysis of Levinas’ reflection on the rights of the ''other” man, allows us to focus on a series of crucial ethical values which renew the philosophical significance of human rights addressing the theme of the primacy of duty.

La categoria dei diritti dell'uomo registra, presso pensatori come Jaspers o Arendt, una forte connotazione critico-problematica. Il confronto con la riflessione di Lévinas circa i diritti dell''altro' uomo permette di mettere a fuoco valenze etiche tali da rinnovare la portata filosofica dei diritti umani, nella tematizzazione del primato del dovere.
